Programming for a few might be intimidating and challenging because it takes extraordinary zeal and persistence to grasp diverse needs in the world of coding or programming. The world is heading to a point where everything around powered by electricity can be programmed.
You having a desire to learn programming doesn’t hand you the responsibility of creating the next Facebook or Google, but for relevance skills to test your resolve. It will make you a contributor to the revolution and not just a mere user. Programming is about finding solutions to needs which later become wealth for many. You might have the 21st-century idea. Five reasons you should consider to learn programming

Firstly, learning programming makes you a creative thinker.  Programmers don’t grab their mouse immediately after been given a task, but they carry out planned and outlined solutions for a different phase of the work. Gradually your brain becomes wired into solving problems bit by bit instead of making random assumptions.

Secondly, when you learn programme, you become more logical when thinking than making guesses and predictions. From the first day of the class, gradually you become more investigative and analytical instead of having abrupt notions on the task.

Thirdly, when you learn programming, it teaches you persistence and perseverance. Programming or coding takes time and patience to learn however we don’t have to be a genius. I have heard testimonies of people who learned to code on their own without any tutor nor guide. They sourced for free courses on the internet and unlocked knowledge. Their stories have one thing in common which is persistence and perseverance. Programming teaches life lessons you don’t know.

Also, programming makes our life easier and safer. Right now, with the touch of a button, you can have a live video chat with a loved one thousands of miles away. We make payment at different online stores; we receive payment for job delivered while reaching millions in a minute all over the world. All these were made possible with the contributions of programmers via software design. As you acquire the knowledge, you will unlock imaginations.

Lastly, the internet is unlocking wealth for many after been rewarded for their work or ideas. Today, programmers are needed in numbers to fit into many positions all over the world. Despite being one of the highest grossing jobs today, they are still short in supply. Learning programming is lucrative because almost everything we touch every hour is running on computer programs. Interestingly, it’s not compulsory you are fulltime.

Imagine the opportunities that await you if you start learning programming today even if it’s just the basics. You stand a chance of creating something that can be applied and beneficial to millions.

You don’t have to be another Steve Jobs because your story is different. Who knows what you will create?
